Why Cats & Interior Design
This collaboration started because Dr. Bobby and I realized we were hearing the same question from different perspectives.
As a veterinarian, he hears: "How do I get my cat to stop scratching my couch?"
As an interior designer, I hear: "I can't have nice furniture because I have a cat."
At first, those sound like different problems. They aren't. We realized we were both helping people solve the same challenge just from different directions.
Dr. Bobby helps explain why cats behave the way they do. I translate those insights into thoughtful interiors that support the way cats naturally live while creating beautiful homes for the people who love them.

Before we plan the space or choose furniture, we look at how your cat experiences your home. That includes where they naturally scratch, rest, climb, play, observe, and move throughout the day.
We look for opportunities to incorporate climbing paths into built-ins, wall treatments, shelving, and artwork arrangements. We consider where scratching belongs before selecting furniture. We think about observation spaces, lighting, and resource placement from the beginning, so the finished room feels intentional—not like cat accessories were added after the fact.

As we design your home, I consult with Dr. Bobby whenever specialized feline behavior or environmental questions arise. Together, we ensure our design recommendations are grounded in an understanding of how cats naturally experience and use their environment.

We work with homeowners throughout Fort Collins, Red Feather, Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Wellington, Severance, Berthoud, and surrounding Northern Colorado communities. Virtual design services are also available for clients outside our local service area.

Can you help me decorate around furniture I already own?
Yes. Many clients already have pieces they love and want to keep. We can help incorporate existing furniture, artwork, heirlooms, and décor into a more cohesive design plan while recommending new pieces where needed.
Can you help me choose furniture for my home?
Absolutely. Furniture selection is one of the most common reasons clients work with us. We help homeowners with custom furniture, as well as selecting sofas, sectionals, dining tables, accent chairs, rugs, lighting, artwork, and accessories that work together and fit both their space and lifestyle.

What if I already have ideas for my home?
Perfect. Many clients come to us with inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, or ideas they've been collecting for years. Our role is to help refine those ideas and create a plan that works in your space.
