OLD TOWN FORT COLLINS
Inspired by Original Art
We had the pleasure of hosting African artist Kader Boly for a month-long exhibition in our showroom. When our client purchased one of his original paintings, he asked us to help design his home around it. He also had a sofa he'd previously purchased from us that he still loved. Together, the artwork and sofa became the starting point for bringing his living, dining, and kitchen spaces together.
His smaller home in old town Fort Collins presented an interesting challenge. The main floor was one grand room encompassing the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The unusual, almost triangular floor plan made furniture placement especially challenging.
We used rounded furniture to soften the angles and glass-top nesting coffee tables to keep the living area feeling open without sacrificing function.

Review from the homeowner
When everything was installed, I walked in, and all I could do was say, “wow.”
Working with a designer completely changed how I feel about my home. She took the pressure off, guided the decisions and somehow made the whole process feel easy and even fun again.
I actually love this house now!
